Leadership in Action has allowed SwedishAmerican to provide our front-line supervisors with the necessary tools to successfully transition into leadership roles and sustain their focus on key leadership behaviors. By providing an assessment tool and structure for group coaching, participants are able to more effectively process feedback and create meaningful action plans. I recommend using Leadership in Action if you are looking to provide leaders with effective leadership skills necessary for change to take place while maintaining high levels of employee motivation.

As someone who seeks positive learning and leadership opportunities for the College's students, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by the leadership program developed by Ian and Karen. Their unique, personal, engaging and insightful approach to leadership was well received by campus leaders including those who were new to their leadership roles as well as those who were quite experienced. Their feedback was clear: Leadership in Action was a valuable and productive program; they had fun, and; they learned valuable leadership skills which they will be able to employ in their role as a campus leader and in the future.

Leadership In Action is the common sense approach to leadership. If you strive to make yourself a better leader or you want to enhance the leadership in your company, you need to turn to Leadership In Action. Ian and Karen have many years of experience in teaching the leadership techniques and behaviors and that comes through in their programs and seminars. I have worked with Ian and Karen for over ten years. The leadership skills they taught me over the years have helped me reach my career goals and have helped me teach valuable leadership skills to my fire crews. Make yourself the leader that people will follow. Leadership In Action can put you on the path to achieving your leadership potential.

Leadership In Action came to campus and spent two days developing the leadership identities and philosphies of the students who attended. Afterwards, the students appreciated Karen's and Ian's ability to be real and talk about the practical aspects of leadership. The presenters' experiences allow them to appeal to all students including athletes, resident assistants, and student government officers. L.I.A.'s tagline of "Leadership Training for the Future" has proven to be accurate as many of the students who attended their session last year have taken on leadership roles in a variety of teams and organizations. If you're looking for a comprehensive and practical leadership program, Leadership In Action meets those objectives.

I wanted to thank you for an excellent class. It was informative, helpful, insightful, and one of the best classes I have taken in 23 years. I am cautiously optimistic that we may actually have a change in our department. It will be easier to really work thru some of the major issues we face using what we learned. As far as the class content, I am not sure if that was standard, or if you tailored it slightly for our situation. Either way, it cut right to the bone on many subjects and was accepted by one of our major skeptics! Again, thank you for your awesome, insightful class, and at such an important time in our department life cycle.
